Where to Find It
Airbnb is connected at the property level. Go to the property you want to connect, then navigate to Integrations in the left sidebar. You’ll see Airbnb listed as an available channel. Click Connect to start the authorization flow.
The Authorization Flow
Clicking Connect will redirect you to Airbnb’s website to authorize the connection. You’ll need to be logged in to the Airbnb account that owns the listing you want to connect. Airbnb will ask you to grant Futurestay permission to manage your listing, and once you approve, you’ll be redirected back to Futurestay. The connection usually completes within a few seconds.
If you manage multiple Airbnb accounts, make sure you’re logged in to the correct one before starting the flow. You can only connect one Airbnb account per property. If you accidentally authorize the wrong account, disconnect and repeat the process.
Choosing Between Basic Sync and Full Sync
After connecting, Futurestay will ask you to choose a sync mode. This is an important decision that affects how much control Futurestay has over your Airbnb listing.
Basic Sync connects your calendars so bookings and availability stay in sync, but your listing content (description, photos, pricing, policies) stays managed directly in Airbnb. This is a good starting point if you want calendar protection without changing how you manage your Airbnb listing.
Full Sync gives Futurestay control over your listing content, pricing rules, and policies, not just your calendar. Changes you make in Futurestay push to Airbnb automatically. This is the better long-term setup if Futurestay is your primary management tool, since it reduces duplicate work and keeps everything consistent across channels.
