Where to Find It
Your direct booking website settings are managed under Website in the main navigation. This section covers your site’s branding (logo and colors), your custom domain, and the content blocks that appear on your homepage. Changes here affect how guests experience your direct booking site, not your listings on Airbnb or other channels.
Branding and Colors
Upload your logo and set your brand color in the Branding section. Your brand color is used for buttons, accents, and highlights throughout the site. Futurestay generates a full palette from this color, so you only need to set one value. If you don’t have a formal brand color, choose something that complements your property photos rather than clashes with them. Earthy neutrals and muted tones tend to work well for vacation rentals.
Your logo appears in the site header and favicon. Upload a version with a transparent background for the cleanest result. PNG format with transparency is recommended. If you don’t have a logo, your property name displays as text.
Custom Domain
By default, your booking site is accessible at a Futurestay subdomain. You can connect a custom domain (for example, bookstayatthepines.com) under Website > Domain. Futurestay will give you the DNS records you need to add to your domain registrar. Once DNS propagates, your site is live at your custom domain.
A custom domain makes your direct booking site look more professional and is worth setting up if you’re investing in direct booking marketing, running paid ads, or handing out business cards. It also makes it easier for repeat guests to find and remember your site.
Homepage Sections
Your booking site homepage can include sections beyond the standard search bar and property listings. These typically include a hero section with headline text, a highlights or features section, guest reviews, and an about section. Each section can be enabled or disabled, and the text is editable directly in the Website settings.
Customize the headline and subheadline in the hero section to speak directly to the type of guest you want to attract. “Book direct and save” is a common headline for hosts who want to nudge guests away from OTAs.
