What It Means to Launch
Launching a property is what makes it live. Until you launch, your property exists in Futurestay but isn’t visible to guests anywhere. Once you launch, your direct booking website goes live and your property becomes eligible to appear on Google Vacation Rentals (if connected).
You can launch from two places: the property card on your Properties dashboard, or from the final step of the Setup Checklist. Either path leads to the same place.
Plans and Launching
Before your property goes live, Futurestay checks whether you need an active subscription.
If you’re on the Connect plan, your first property activates for free. No subscription is required. If you’re adding a second property or you want access to additional features, you’ll be prompted to choose a plan at this step.
If you’re subscribing for the first time, you’ll select either Flex or Amplify and enter your billing details. The 14-day free trial starts from when you subscribe. See Choosing a Plan for a breakdown of what’s included in each option.
The Launch Flow
Once any subscription requirements are resolved, you confirm the launch. Futurestay runs a quick check to make sure your property has the minimum info needed to go live (address, property type, at least one photo, a base rate).
If anything is missing, you’ll see a list of what needs to be completed before you can proceed. If everything looks good, the launch goes through immediately.
After a successful launch, you’ll land on a confirmation screen. From there you can continue setting up your property (policies, photos, pricing) or visit your direct booking website to see how it looks to guests.
After You Launch
Launching doesn’t lock anything in. You can still edit your property name, address, photos, pricing, availability, policies, and anything else at any time. Changes sync automatically to your booking site.
Your property will appear on Google Vacation Rentals once the connection is active and Google has indexed your listing. That indexing can take a few days after launch.
If you need to take a property offline temporarily, you can deactivate it from the property settings without deleting it.
