Importing Your Listing from Airbnb

Pull your existing Airbnb listing into Futurestay so you don't have to re-enter everything manually.

How It Works

If you already have a listing on Airbnb, you don’t need to build your property from scratch in Futurestay. The Airbnb import pulls your listing details, photos, amenities, and settings directly into a new Futurestay property, saving you significant setup time.

Starting the Import

Go to Properties and click Add Property. You’ll see two options: Import from Airbnb and Create Manually. Choose Import from Airbnb.

If you haven’t connected your Airbnb account yet, you’ll be prompted to authorize Futurestay. See Connecting Airbnb for details on that process.

Once connected, you’ll see a list of your Airbnb listings. Select the one you want to import and Futurestay will pull in the available data.

What Gets Imported

The import pulls most of your listing content:

  • Property details: title, description, property type, room type
  • Photos: all listing photos in their current order
  • Amenities: mapped to Futurestay’s amenity categories
  • Capacity: bedrooms, bathrooms, beds, max guests
  • Location: address and coordinates
  • Pricing: base rate and any configured fees

Some settings may need manual review after import. Channel-specific fields that don’t have a Futurestay equivalent won’t carry over, and you should double-check that everything mapped correctly before going live.

After the Import

Your imported property starts in a draft state. Walk through each settings page to verify the data looks right, fill in anything that didn’t import (like check-in instructions or rental agreement terms), and configure your direct booking website settings.

Once everything looks good, launch the property to make it active on your connected channels and direct booking site.
